Concept2 PM5 rowing companion
Your erg session, rowed on a virtual lake.
VirtuErg reads your Concept2 PM5 over Bluetooth and rows a single scull to match: your pace sets the boat speed, your stroke rate sets the rhythm. Targets and cues keep you on track, and the session is saved when you finish.

What it does
A companion app for Concept2 erg sessions.
Coaching while you row
Distance, time, calorie or interval sessions, with pace, stroke-rate and heart-rate targets. Cues appear on screen and can be spoken aloud as the row unfolds.
Every row kept
A summary at the end with splits, goals and coach notes, then a full history with personal bests and achievements. Rows can be sent on to your Concept2 Logbook.
Two courses to row: a wooded lake loop and an arctic passage. Runs on Windows and Android, and a built-in demo mode lets you look around without an erg connected.
Data and privacy
Designed to keep rowing data local unless you choose to share it.
Your rows stay on your device
VirtuErg reads your rower and optional heart-rate strap nearby over Bluetooth. Your workout history, goals, preferences, and badges are saved in the app on your own device.
Sharing is your choice
Concept2 Logbook upload is off until you turn it on. Sign in once and finished rows can be sent across to Concept2; leave it off and nothing goes anywhere.
Other boats are temporary
If you row with other people, a live room lets your boats appear beside each other. It only needs moment-by-moment rowing details while you are connected, not a permanent workout log.
What happens to your message
The name, email address and message you send through the form are used only to answer your query, and are kept only for as long as that takes. They are never sold, shared for marketing, or added to a mailing list. This site uses no tracking cookies or third-party scripts.
